College Preparatory Courses: 2 Years, 1 Year and 9 Months, 1 Year and 6 Months

Eligibility for Application

① Completion of 12 years of school education in the applicant’s home country.
② Applicants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of enrollment.
③ Individuals permitted or expected to be permitted entry into Japan through proper procedures.
④ Applicants must be in good physical and mental health and able to submit proof a health examination conducted within the previous 3 months.
⑤ Applicants must have a reliable guarantor and financial sponsor for all expenses during enrollment.
⑥ Applicants must have Japanese language learning experience of over 150 hours in their home country and have proof of having Japanese language proficiency equivalent to or above JLPT N5.
⑦ Individuals with the purpose to advance to universities, graduate schools, junior colleges, vocational schools, etc., in Japan.
⑧ Applicants must adhere to Japanese laws and the school’s regulations, demonstrate a strong enthusiasm for learning Japanese, attend classes diligently, and show a strong determination to graduate.

 

Enrollment Process

① Submit application documents to TLS Fukuroi.

② Take TLS Fukuroi’s entrance examination.
③ Wait for admission results from TLS Fukuroi.
◆Only those who pass TLS Fukuroi’s entrance examination may apply for a Certificate of Eligibility from the Immigration Services Bureau.
④ Wait for the result of the Certificate of Eligibility application review by the Immigration Services Bureau.
◆Only those who receive the Certificate of Eligibility may proceed with enrollment procedures.
⑤ Receive a complete set of enrollment procedure documents from TLS Fukuroi.
⑥ Transfer tuition fees to TLS Fukuroi’s bank account.
⑦ Receive the Certificate of Eligibility from TLS Fukuroi.
⑧ Apply for a visa at an overseas embassy.
⓽Arrive in Japan and enroll.

 

Handling of Personal Information

Personal information provided during the application and enrollment process will
be used for application processing, conducting entrance examinations, making acceptance or rejection decisions, applying for Certificate of Eligibility, enrollment procedures, and related tasks. Additionally, it may be used for surveys, research, analysis, creation of statistical data, and promotional activities in a format that does not identify individuals. For enrolled students, it will be used for academic and student management purposes. Some of these tasks may be outsourced to third-party service providers, who will be contractually obligated to manage and safeguard personal information securely.
